Interline Agreements – contain the mutual obligation of the parties to accept carriage documents issued by one party for transportation by the other party and payment for such transportation.

The Interline agreements system ensures mutual recognition of carriage documents of the airlines involved in such agreements. Under IATA there are unilateral and multilateral agreements.

The sale is performed by agents on other carriers' blanks based of concluded interline agreements between the airlines.
