Tu-214 – is a mid-range regional jet airliner developed by Tupolev ASTB.

Aircraft produced at Kazan Aviation Production Association (KAPO), have symbol Tu-214. The first line of Tu-204-200 (TU-214) was run into production in the second half of 1994.

The aircraft is an evolution version of Tu-204-100, differing in increased takeoff weight and greater range with full payload.

Foreign analogues are Boeing-757 and Airbus A321.

Tu-204 is built on an aerodynamic scheme cantilever low-wing aircraft. Sweptwing with big lengthening is formed by supercritical sections. In order to reduce induced drag the wing is attached to the negative aerodynamic twist and a vertical ending. High-lift consists of two-slit flaps and slats along the leading edge.

Chassis - retractable, tricycle, with a nose landing. The power plant consists of two PS-90A turbojets. The crew cabin is equipped with color screens and the central Y-shaped handles with small moves. Aircraft and engines control system is electrical.
