Transaero Airlines Results for January-August 2010

Transaero Airlines announces its operational results for the first 8 months of 2010 which once again demonstrate stable development of the carrier.

For the period from January to August 2010:

Passenger turnover reached 16.71 billion RPK, 42.8 % higher than in the first 8 months of 2009

The total number of passengers carried amounted to 4,347,672, which is 35% more than in the same period in the previous year

Transaero transported a total of 22,955 tons of cargo, 45.7% more than in the first 8 months in 2009

Ton-kilometers totaled 1,637,490.9 TKM, 43.1% more than in the same period previous year.

In January – August 2010 Transaero passenger turnover grew both on the domestic routes (by 23.7%) and on international routes by (38%).
