Transaero Aviation Training Centre offers language training to the following aviation personnel categories:
FLIGHT CREW training:
- Radio communications onboard an aircraft on international flights. Training is conducted using computer simulation programs that allow trainees to virtually visit different countries and listen to actual conversations with foreign flight operations officers, thus improving their knowledge and skills in understanding different accents of the international community;
- Development of spoken language skills necessary for effective performance of professional duties;
- Preparation for English language testing according to ICAO standards;
- Remote instruction courses (using Internet and the latest computer technologies).
Training is conducted under the following certified programs:
- Flight crew initial training in English language (with certified testing according to ICAO document 9835);
- Flight crew advanced training in English language (with certified testing according to ICAO document 9835);
- Flight crew advanced training in English radio exchange phraseology;
- Remote instruction.
CABIN CREW training in general and professional English language aims to establish knowledge of vocabulary meeting international standards as well as the company’s philosophy.
Training objectives are:
- the knowledge of English language;
- to activate skills and abilities necessary to communicate with the airline’s foreign clients in English;
- to enable the trainees to read and understand international aviation documents in English.
Training is conducted under the following certified programs:
- Flight attendant initial training in professional English language;
- Senior flight attendant initial training in professional English language;
- Flight attendant instructor initial training in professional English language;
- Flight attendant advanced training in professional English language;
- Senior flight attendant advanced training in professional English language;
- Flight attendant instructor advanced training in professional English language;
GROUND STAFF instruction in general and professional English language aims to help the trainees:
- establish and improve English language knowledge;
- acquire basic vocabulary and grammar skills necessary to perform their professional duties.
Training is conducted under the following programs:
- Ground staff initial training (Passenger Traffic Organization Service, company’s own sales and information support service employees) in professional English language;
- Ground staff advanced training (Passenger Traffic Organization Service, company’s own sales and information support service employees) in professional English language;
- Professional English language training program for Transaero Airlines IT specialists;
- Professional English language training program for Transaero Airlines Flight Safety Inspectorate specialists;
- Financial English language training program for Transaero Airlines Finance Department specialists;
- Aviation English language training program for Transaero Airlines Operations and Control Department specialists;
- Technical English language training program for Transaero engineering staff;
- General English language training program for Transaero Airlines specialists.
Training is conducted by highly qualified specialists holding international certificates and having extensive experience in flight operations and support, and involves active use of handouts, specialized instructional aids for different aviation personnel categories, audio and video recordings, technical documentation, and computer programs.
A “Sanako 1200" language laboratory equipped with the latest computer, audio and video equipment has been created to optimize the teaching process.
