Connecting flights

There are four types of connecting flights: domestic-to-domestic, international-to-international, domestic-to-international and international-to-domestic. All Transaero connections take place at Domodedovo International Airport.

Each of the types has some peculiarities:

1.    Domestic-to-Domestic

Enter the air terminal and go up the escalator to the transfer hall, following the “Transfer" signs before passport control. If you received a boarding pass for your connecting flight at the airport of departure, please proceed to the additional control area and wait for your boarding call inside the lounge.

If you did not receive a boarding pass for your connecting flight at the airport of departure, please approach the Transaero staff in the transfer hall to check in for your connecting flight. Please check the displays inside the departure hall to find your gate number.

2.     International-to-International

Enter the air terminal and and go up the escalator to the transfer hall, following the “Transfer" signs before passport control. If you received a boarding pass for your connecting flight at the airport of departure, please proceed to the additional control area and wait for your boarding call inside the lounge. Please check the displays inside the departure hall to find your gate number.

If you did not receive a boarding pass for your connecting flight at the airport of departure, please approach the Transaero staff in the transfer hall to check in for your connecting flight. Please check the displays inside the departure hall to find your gate number.

3.     Domestic-to-International

Please make sure that your baggage is checked in for the entire flight to the final destination when checking in at your airport of departure. After arriving in Moscow, proceed to customs and passport control if you received a boarding pass to your connecting flight at the airport of departure, or if you did not, proceed to counter 33 for check-in.

4.     International-to-Domestic

Go through general passport control after arrival, and then be sure to pick up your baggage from the baggage pick-up area before going through customs control. Then, proceed to counter 33 to check in for your domestic flight. Please note that there is no automatic baggage transfer between international and domestic flights.
