At the airport

Safety

Terrorist acts, changes in the status of states, countries’ memberships in various international unions and alliances, and changes in states’ immigration laws all require international airports to control passenger traffic on a daily basis.

The essence of profiling conducted by Transaero personnel during check-in and boarding is to verify the authenticity, validity and sufficiency of travel documents in terms of immigration requirements, and to ensure the safety of passengers and crews.

Profiling applies to flights destined for Europe, America and Southeast Asia. Some states, such as the US, Canada and Australia, require airlines to submit some of the personal data provided by customers when obtaining a visa at a consular office or booking a flight.

As a result of our profiling procedures, only customers whose true intentions match those declared when obtaining a visa or booking a flight / purchasing a ticket can use our services.

Customers denied transportation for security reasons are often law-abiding citizens who are thankful to us for finding inaccuracies or misprints in their documents. They understand that in a situation like that, we have protected from financial sanctions and loss both ourselves and the customer, who will be able to use our services again after the errors in the documents have been corrected.
