Meals and Drinks

    The meals provided aboard Transaero flights are created by top chefs. A wide range of factors is considered, from flight duration and optimum calorie content, to the customs of most passengers who travel to the destination in question, with particular attention paid to serving. The appearance of each dish is thoroughly assessed by a special commission.

    Sample Business Class menu aboard Transaero Airlines Flight 207 from Moscow to Odessa:

    •     Appetizers: coolers, alcoholic beverages, nut mix;

    •     Fish hors d’oeuvre: a combination of tiger shrimp cooked in spices, light-salted salmon, and celery and crab salad, served on endive and radicchio leaves with lemon sauce and black olives; butter rose;

    •     Fruit dessert: orange, kiwi and black grape mix;

    •     Bread basket: Darnitsky bread, French roll, wholemeal bread, tomato roll;

    •     Main courses to choose from: Main Course 1-- tilapia fillet cooked with white wine and fresh herbs, with fettuccine topped with Napoli sauce as side dish; Main Course 2 -- chicken fillet in yoghurt marinade served with saffron rice, parboiled vegetables and Ram sauce; Main Course 3 -- medallions of pork tenderloin served with duchesse potatoes, grilled zucchinis, little finger carrots and red wine sauce;

    •     Desserts to choose from: Dessert 1-- white chocolate mousse topped with orange jelly; Dessert 2 -- tiramisu mousse; Dessert 3 -- exotic mousse;

    •     Tea/coffee;

    •     Coolers;

    •     Tray layout: linen napkin, cutlery, toothpick, salt/pepper.

    Sample Premium Economy Class menu aboard Transaero Airlines Flight 207 from Moscow to Odessa:

    •     Meat appetizer: chicken ham with Cheddar cheese served on salad leaves with black olives and herbs;

    •     Fresh vegetable salad;

    •     Tiramisu cake;

    •     Roasted sausage sandwich;

    •     Tea/coffee;

    •     Coolers;

    •     Tray layout: paper tissues, butter, mayonnaise, dark bread, chocolate bar, disposable fork, spoon and knife, rye bread.

    Sample Tourist Economy Class menu aboard Transaero Airlines Flight 207 from Moscow to Odessa:

    •     Natural yoghurt;

    •     Chocolate-coated biscuits;

    •     Roasted sausage sandwich;

    •     Tea/coffee;

    •     Mineral water;

    •     Tray layout: paper tissues, disposable fork, spoon and knife, pre-packed juice.
