Rules and conditions

We hope that this information will make your participation in Transaero Privilege easier, and your trip with us even more enjoyable.

Membership in the Program

1. Any passenger who is aged 14 or older can be a member of the program. Group membership is not allowed.
2. The membership start date is the date of completing the membership application. Points will be credited for flights starting from the membership start date. To receive points, you need to both purchase a ticket and travel. No points will accrue for unused tickets.
3. Each member of the program should follow the number of points in their account and any changes in the rules and conditions of the program. Transaero will endeavor to keep members informed about any changes in the rules and conditions of the program.
4. Each member is responsible for timely notice to Transaero of any changes in their address, telephone number and any other details.
5. You may be credited extra points as an enrollment bonus for flights on which you have traveled within two months prior to registration with the program. To have your extra points credited, please provide the exact flight date, flight number and ticket number to the Transaero Privilege group by phone at +7 495 607 7454 or by email to privilege@transaero.ru.

Member account

After we receive your membership form, we open a member account in your name. Your account number is stated on your membership card.

1. Each member can have only one account and use only one temporary or permanent membership card. If it is found that one member’s points are accruing in more than one account, only points accrued in the account opened earlier than the others will be counted. Any other accounts, and any points accrued in them, will be deleted without prior notice.
2. Points accumulated in different accounts cannot be merged, transferred to another account or converted to points under any other similar program administered by Transaero or any other airline.
3. As soon as the number of points accumulated in your account reaches 1,000 within 12 months of your membership start date, you can have your temporary membership card replaced with a permanent membership card.
4. If you do not accumulate at least 1,000 points within 12 months of opening your account, or if no points are accumulated within 36 months of your latest flight, your account may be deleted without prior notice. The deleted account or any data in it cannot be restored. No money or other compensation will be provided.

Conditions for Point Accrual

1. Basic points credited to your account will depend upon the distance traveled and your booking class, and will accrue according to the points table.
2. Extra points will be credited for normal Economy Class fares, participation in special events and Partner services.
3. A trip made on a Transaero scheduled flight will serve as the grounds for crediting points to your account.
4. Points will be credited only for trips made by the member in person.
5. No points will be credited for tickets received as a reward or for flights that are not operated by Transaero. Points for charter flights will be credited to holders of permanent plastic cards only.
6. When traveling on a group fare or in a chartered block of seats on a scheduled flight, only half of the points due for the appropriate travel class will be credited to your account. The list of fares and discounts with various accrual procedures may be modified.
7. No points will be credited for tickets that were left unused, were lost or were transferred to a different airline.
8. Points cannot be traded, given to another person, or inherited.

Conditions for Rewards

A Transaero Privilege reward is a free ticket or a travel class upgrade on a Transaero scheduled flight paid for with Transaero privilege points.

1. You will have the right to claim your reward as soon as a sufficient number of points is credited to your account.
2. Only points accumulated within three calendar years before the last point accrual date will be counted toward the minimum number of points necessary to receive a reward, irrespective of the total points accumulated throughout your membership period.
3. To collect your reward, you will need to produce your plastic membership card and your passport. Your duly authorized agent will be able to claim your reward for you by producing your permanent membership card and your passport or a copy of your passport.
4. You can transfer your reward to any other person by visiting a Transaero office in person and signing a transfer statement in the presence of Transaero employees.
5. Your reward, once collected, cannot be returned to Transaero.
6. Transaero will not issue copies of your reward ticket if lost. No money or other compensation will be provided for unused reward tickets.
7. Any duty or charges not included in your fare will be paid by you when collecting your reward ticket.

Privilege cards

Only basic points earned for traveling on Transaero regular flights will be counted when upgrading the level of your membership card. No points credited as extra points or earned under partner programs will be counted. A change in the level of your membership card will not affect the number of points required for a reward. The use of your points will not affect the counting procedure when upgrading to a higher membership level.

1. Temporary Membership card

   When enrolling in Transaero Privilege, you will receive a temporary paper membership card bearing your personal account number. The card will serve for the accumulation of points and does not entitle you to any membership benefits or rewards. Your will have your temporary membership card replaced with a permanent plastic one after accumulating 1,000 points in your account within 12 months of enrolling in Transaero Privilege. A notification that you can collect your plastic card will be sent to the email address you specified when registering.

   Important! Holders of temporary membership cards will receive no points for traveling on charter flights.

2. Permanent Membership card

   Your permanent plastic membership card will be made for you after you accumulate 1,000 points in your account within 12 months of enrolling in Transaero Privilege. The permanent membership card entitles you to Transaero Privilege benefits.

3. Transaero Silver Privilege

   You account will be upgraded to Silver if you accumulate 10,000 basic points in your account, or if you travel Business Class 15 times or Economy Class 30 times within one year after the first and each subsequent anniversary date of your enrollment in the program. Transaero Privilege Silver Cards are valid for one year. A notification that you can collect your Silver Card will be sent to the email address you specified when registering.

4. Transaero Gold Privilege

   We will be glad to reward you with your Transaero Privilege Gold Card as soon as you have accumulated 18,000 points in your account within one year after the first and each subsequent anniversary date of your enrollment in the program, or traveled Business Class 30 times or Economy Class 60 times. Transaero Privilege Gold Cards are valid for one year. A notification that you can collect your Gold Card will be sent to the email address you specified when registering.

General Provisions

1. Transaero reserves the right to make any changes relating to point crediting conditions, reward terms or eligibility, or the list of fare classes which are not eligible for a travel class upgrade.
2. Transaero reserves the right to discontinue or changes the Transaero Privilege program in whole or in part at any time with or without prior notice. If the program is discontinued, any points accumulated by the members of the program may be deleted. Transaero will not be liable for any damages or loss resulting from such discontinuation or deletion. Transaero will endeavor to provide prior notice of any such events to members of Transaero Privilege.
3. Transaero reserves the right to expel any Transaero Privilege member withdrawing his or her membership card and deleting any points he or she has accumulated, or deny participation in the program for violation of:
   • International air transport laws;
   • Laws of the Russian Federation;
   • Transaero’s rules of carriage;
   • Transaero Privilege rules.
4. By applying for membership in Transaero Privilege, you accept the program rules and conditions published on www.transaero.ru, in the Transaero Privilege prospectus and other printed or other publications of Transaero, or those communicated by Transaero employees.
