Terms and Conditions

User agreement between the user (User, you) and TRANSAERO Airlines (TRANSAERO, we). Please read these terms and conditions of use (Terms and Conditions) before using transaero.com website (Site).

The Site

The Site is offered to you by JSC "TRANSAERO Airlines", whose registered office is 48A, Liteiny Prospekt, Saint-Petersburg, 191104, the Russian Federation. All correspondence regarding customer service should be sent to TRANSAERO Airlines, 47/1 Bolshaya Polyanka str, Moscow, 119180, Russia.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

You consent to the Terms and Conditions when you use the Site, without qualification. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms & Conditions at any time. You should check these Terms & Conditions periodically for changes. By using this Website after we post any changes to these Terms & Conditions, you agree to accept those changes, whether or not you have reviewed them. If you disagree with any part of the Terms and Conditions, you may not use the Site in any way.

www.transaero.com offers an online booking and payment on TRANSAERO flights performed on scheduled basis.

Eligibility

Only persons reached their 18th birthday may be booked as individual passenger. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by at least one adult person older than 18 years. Passengers between 12 and 18 years old must accompanied by an adult older than 18 years. Every infant under 2 years must be accompanied by an adult older than 18 years.

Booking restrictions

Unaccompanied minors, wheelchair users, stretchers, the blind, the deaf and seriously ill may be booked in our ticket-sales offices and in authorized agencies only.

Attention: Due to the on-board service features, these categories of citizens, booked via Internet, may not be admitted to the flight.

Payment

Payment for the booked air transportation can be made by payment methods stated on the Site.

Before payment is received in full, TRANSAERO is not obliged to issue any tickets. However, you shall in all cases remain liable for payment of the amounts agreed for the transportation ordered.

Payment can be made by debit and credit cards as detailed on the Site. TRANSAERO reserves the right to charge you in addition for any handling fees incur in relation to payment made in interactive access. You will be notified of the relevant charges, if applicable.

For security reasons the card holder should be the traveler in any case. You will be asked to produce the card with which the payment has been made and your ID at point of ticketing.

Further, in an effort to minimize the effects of credit card fraud, we reserve the right to carry out random checks, including checks of the electoral roll, and may request you to either fax or post to us proof of your address and a copy of the credit card and recent statement before issuing any tickets.

Currency Converter

The purchase amount is calculated in currency of the country of transportation origin. Your credit card will be always charged in Russian rubles. Currency rates quoted in the Site are derived from a number of sources and may not in all cases be updated daily. The amount shown at the booking confirmation and charged out of your card may differ due to currency conversion.

Tickets

Depending on the country/territory the ticket may be delivered at your delivery address or will be waiting for you at departure if already paid by credit card.

You may pick up the ticket at point of transportation origin at TRANSAERO office or authorized agent office.

At ticketing you will be asked to produce identification documents and the card the purchase has been paid with. If you are travelling with children age proof documents should be presented.

E-ticket

On the routings where e-ticket is available you will be issued with an e-ticket as standard.

If part of your journey includes any point of origin, transfer or destination where e-ticket is not yet available you will be issued with a paper ticket.

Cancellation / Modification

Any modification/cancellation to the completed booking can't be made through the Site. For modification/cancellation please contact your local TRANSAERO office or direct your mail to Ecom.Control@transaero.ru

Use of the Site

The Site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. TRANSAERO does not accept any liability in respect of your ability to access or use the site at any time or any interruption in that access or use or any failure to complete any transaction. TRANSAERO does not warrant that the Site is free from computer viruses or other properties that may cause loss or damage.

User Obligations

You agree to be bound by the following obligations, including without limitation:

You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account including charging back.

You must be 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity.

You warrant that all information you provide about yourself or members of your household shall be true and accurate.

The Site must not be used for speculative, false or fraudulent bookings.

The transmission of threatening, defamatory, pornographic, political, or racist material or any material that is otherwise unlawful is expressly prohibited.

The Site and any content may not be modified, copied, transmitted, distributed, sold, displayed, licensed or reproduced in any way by you, except that one copy of the information contained within the Site may be made for personal, non-commercial use.

Denial of Access

TRANSAERO reserves the right to deny access to the Site at any time without notice.

Liability of TRANSAERO

In no event will TRANSAERO be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of access to, or the use of this Site or any information contained in it, including loss of profit and the like whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Links to Third Party Web Sites

The Site may contain hyper links to external web sites owned and operated by third parties. We do not endorse any such web sites and We are not responsible for the information, material, products or services contained on or accessible through those web sites. Your access and use of such web sites remains solely at your own risk.

Force Majeure

TRANSAERO shall not be liable for any failure in the course of this Agreement if the same shall arise out of a force majeure event. This shall include without limitation government intervention, wars, civil commotion, hijacking, fire, flood, accident, storm, strikes, lockouts, terrorist attacks, or industrial action affecting TRANSAERO or its suppliers.

Changes to the Site

TRANSAERO may change any aspect of the Site or its content, including the availability of the routings, fare rules and conditions, form of payment etc.

Copyright

The copyright and all proprietary rights in the Site and all content are reserved by TRANSAERO. The material contained within the Site is the property of TRANSAERO Airlines or its affiliates unless identified as belonging to third parties.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

TRANSAERO reserves the right to change or update the Terms and Conditions relating to use of the Site from time to time without prior notice to Users. The current version of the Terms and Conditions will be displayed within the Site from the date on which any changes come into effect. Continued use of the Site following any changes to the Terms and Conditions shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
